How you look after your wig is very important for it's longevity, a synthetic wig worn daily usually has a lifespan of 3-4 months depending on the length, a shorter synthetic wig may last better than a longer synthetic wig as friction against clothing can cause the fibre to get a 'frizzy' look after a period of time. With the correct after care products along with careful storage you may get longer from you synthetic wig. A synthetic wig will only need to be washed every 10-14 wearings, (a wearing is all day) and should be left to air dry, no heat it requires very little upkeep.

A Human hair wig should be treated as you would your own hair and will need to be washed, styled and conditioned regularly.

Human hair wigs do require more upkeep but can be curled or straightened, permed and coloured if required.
